At Happy, we've always believed that the heart of every organization lies in its people. Our mission is centered around enhancing how teams communicate, collaborate, and thrive together. But as we've grown, we've also listened. We've heard your feedback, ideas, and vision for what Happy could be—and we've been hard at work transforming that feedback into reality.
Today, we're thrilled to announce a series of major updates to the Happy platform—changes designed to make your experience even more seamless, engaging, and powerful.
A Fresh, Modern Look
Soon, when you log into Happy, you'll notice a beautiful, newly designed interface. We've overhauled the design to create a cleaner, more modern look that isn't just aesthetically pleasing and deeply functional. We know that our users want a more visual, graphical experience, and that's precisely what we've delivered.
The new design is more than just a fresh coat of paint—it's an evolution. We've made the interface more interactive, allowing you to engage with the platform in intuitive and responsive ways. The changes are about making your experience smoother, more engaging, and ultimately more effective in helping you and your team achieve your goals.
Combining Profile and Workstyle: Easier Navigation, Enhanced Interaction
One of the most significant enhancements we're excited to share is consolidating the Profile and Workstyle sections. Previously, these were separate experiences, each with important but until now, visually separated information.
With Happy Profiles, users can share information about their role at the company, how they approach work, and personal tidbits to help their team understand them better. Users could personalize their profiles by adding what makes them happy or grumpy at work, giving others insights into their preferences and triggers.
Rooted in the behavioral science of DISC, Happy Workstyles provides a personalized and comprehensive understanding of individual work behaviors. It takes the standard workplace assessment to the next level, providing insights into users' core behaviors, natural communication styles, possible stressors, and more. Happy Workstyles were developed to empower people to have influence within the platform to describe themselves, helping improve understanding of how others like to work and communicate.
While both sections of the platform were incredibly valuable, we recognized an opportunity to streamline and simplify. This update is all about helping you get the most out of Happy with less effort and more impact.
With this update, we're combining everything into one unified experience on a single page. This isn't just about combining two sections—it's about creating a richer, more flexible, and more user-friendly holistic view of your team members.
The new consolidated page will allow users to access their personal profile and workstyle insights in one place. We've made it easier to see the connections between different aspects of each person's profile and how they influence their Workstyle. This change means that users can now get a more complete picture of themselves and their colleagues without switching back and forth between pages.
Personalized Flexibility with Greater Control
We understand that every user's needs are different, and that's why we've built in more flexibility when it comes to using this new unified page. All the profile sections are still available for users to fill out, but now, some are optional. This means you can choose to share as much or as little information as you want. Only once these optional sections are filled out do they become visible to others viewing your profile, giving you complete control over your information.
Editing your profile is now faster and easier than ever. Whether you want to update a quick detail or add more in-depth information, the process is designed to be seamless. Plus, longer profile sections and the Workstyle summary at the top of the page are all expandable. This ensures they don't take up too much space on the page until the viewer decides to expand them for more detailed insights. It's all about ensuring the experience is as user-friendly and customizable as possible.
New Communication Tips: Dos and Don'ts at Your Fingertips
In addition to the consolidated profile and workstyle experience, we've added a brand-new feature to the communication section of the workstyle report. You'll now find a set of quick and practical "Dos and Don'ts" tailored to each individual. These tips help you communicate more effectively with your team members, ensuring that every interaction is as productive and positive as possible.
All users can access These communication tips quickly by viewing the new profile page, making it easier than ever to connect with your colleagues in a way that truly resonates. Whether you're preparing for a meeting, sending a message, or trying to understand how best to approach a conversation, these insights will be at your fingertips.
Why These Changes Matter
You might be wondering why all these changes are happening now. The answer is simple: we're committed to helping you make the most of your most valuable resource—your people. In today's world, where how we work together is more critical than ever, we believe the tools you use should support and enhance that collaboration, not get in the way.
