At Happy, we know that the strength of any team lies in its people—and that understanding those people on a deeper level can be the difference between a good team and a great one. With our latest update to the Admin Dashboard, we're making it easier than ever to see, understand, and empower your team at scale. Whether you're curious about workstyles, user engagement, or managing people more effectively, this new dashboard brings the insights you need right to your fingertips.
So, what's new?
Workstyle Distribution: A Clearer Picture of Your Team's Strengths
Imagine if you could quickly see how diverse workstyles shape your workspace. With the new Workstyle Distribution Chart, you can! This visual breakdown provides an at-a-glance view of the percentage of each workstyle represented within your team, from Drivers to Coordinators and beyond. It's more than just data—it's a valuable lens into the unique blend of strengths, approaches, and perspectives that fuel your organization's success.
By understanding these differences, you can identify how each individual's style contributes to the team's overall dynamic. Do you have a balanced mix of problem-solvers, strategists, and communicators? Or do you see a concentrated strength in specific areas? Recognizing this distribution helps leaders celebrate each person's unique contribution and foster collaboration by pairing complementary workstyles for optimal synergy.
The Workstyle Distribution Chart gives you the insights to design project teams more effectively, navigate interpersonal dynamics with greater empathy, and tap into the full potential of your workforce. After all, a well-balanced team brings strength and adaptability—and understanding those unique dynamics is key to harnessing them.
User Activation Funnel: Tracking Engagement Made Easy
Keeping your team engaged is a journey, and our User Activation Funnel is here to guide you every step of the way. From the initial invitation to full activation, this tool provides a clear, visual roadmap of the onboarding process. Each stage is mapped out, allowing you to monitor where new users are actively engaging and where they might need extra support to move forward.
With this funnel, you can see precisely how many users are at each stage—invited, registered, and fully onboarded. Is there a stage where engagement drops off? The User Activation Funnel lets you catch it early to take targeted action. Whether that means reaching out with a personal welcome, offering tailored resources, or simply providing a reminder, you can ensure that every user gets the support they need to become an active and engaged team member.
Ultimately, the User Activation Funnel empowers you to create a smoother onboarding experience that helps every user find their place within the team. With clear insights and actionable data, keeping your team engaged from day one has never been easier.
User Report: Spot the Superstars (and Soon, Those Who Need Support)
Engaged employees are at the heart of a thriving team culture, and knowing who's actively contributing can be a powerful way to foster best practices across your organization. The User Report now highlights new users in your workspace, giving you the opportunity to welcome them personally and ensure they're supported from day one. By offering this visibility, the User Report makes it easy to connect with fresh faces, introduce them to the team, and help them integrate smoothly into the flow of work.
But we're not stopping there—soon, the User Report will also feature Power Users and Least Engaged Users. This means you'll see who’s highly engaged and be able to identify those who might benefit from additional guidance, resources, or encouragement. Spotting the superstars allows you to learn from their engagement patterns and replicate those successful behaviors across the team, while recognizing those who need support creates opportunities for personalized coaching or tailored interventions.
In short, the User Report is evolving into a robust tool for proactive team management. With these insights, you can cultivate a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement, ensuring every team member feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Enhanced People Management and Directory: Tailored for Simplicity
Managing your team should feel seamless, not time-consuming. That’s why we’ve introduced an Enhanced People Management experience, designed to make every aspect of team oversight straightforward and efficient. With this update, People Management now has a dedicated page, bringing all essential tools together in one place. You can quickly navigate through different views to see active users, pending invites, and deactivated members—giving you a complete, organized view of your team’s status at a glance. Need to adjust access? You can easily deactivate or reactivate users, and handle pending invites, including removing them as needed, putting full control over your team’s workspace at your fingertips.
In the People Directory, we've added Workstyle Badges for each user, providing an at-a-glance view of everyone's unique strengths and tendencies. These badges add a new layer of visibility, allowing you to understand your team's dynamics more deeply. Additionally, the new filter feature lets you sort and find individuals based on their workstyle, making it easy to locate the right people for specific projects, collaborations, or support.
These enhancements turn the People Management and Directory tools into a powerhouse for precision and ease. By empowering you with intuitive controls and quick access to key information, we're simplifying the building, organizing, and supporting of a high-performing team. With these tools, managing your team isn't just easier—it's smarter.
Activity Analytics: A Window into Team Dynamics
Understanding team dynamics goes beyond simple metrics—it's about capturing the pulse of how your team collaborates, learns, and evolves. Our updated Activity Analytics provides a comprehensive, real-time view of coaching activity across the Happy platform. It displays insights on usage across different channels, including in-app, Slack, Teams, and email. This multifaceted data allows you to see how, when, and where your team engages with coaching resources, providing a holistic picture of their learning journey.
These metrics are more than just numbers; they reflect your team's unique communication patterns, growth habits, and collaboration styles. Are there peaks in engagement after certain meetings? Does coaching activity increase in specific channels? By understanding these patterns, you can identify moments of high engagement, opportunities for additional support, and areas where your team might benefit from further development.
Activity Analytics open a window into your team's inner workings, empowering you to make data-driven decisions that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
